2. What data we process, and why

  • “Request an executive” form: name, company, position, email, telephone and the description of the need, in order to answer your enquiry and, where appropriate, pass it on to the members whose profile fits.
  • Application form: contact details and professional background and, if the candidate attaches it, their CV, in order to assess their admission to AEAF.
  • Member profiles: name, photograph, professional description, area, city and contact links that the member supplies and authorises for publication in the directory.
  • Direct email: the data you include in your message.

3. Legal basis

Your consent, for the forms and for the publication of profiles (art. 6.1.a GDPR); performance of the arrangement agreed with each member, for the management of their membership of the directory (art. 6.1.b GDPR); and compliance with legal obligations, where applicable (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

4. Recipients

If you request a particular profile or describe a need, your enquiry may be passed on to the relevant AEAF member or members, who will process it as independent controllers.

Data will not be disclosed to any other third party except where required by law. The site is hosted on the servers of Nominalia Internet S.L., which also provides the email service, acting as a data processor.

5. Retention

Enquiry data is kept for three years from the last communication. Data from unsuccessful applications is kept for one year, unless the candidate asks for it to be deleted sooner. Member data is kept for as long as their membership of the directory lasts and, thereafter, for the applicable limitation periods.

CVs are stored in a private directory on the server, which is neither publicly accessible nor indexable, and are deleted together with the application they accompany.

6. International transfers

No international transfers of data outside the European Economic Area take place. Should any become necessary, this policy will be updated in advance.

7. Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw any consent given, by writing to info@aeaf.es.

If you believe your data has not been processed properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
